The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, NYU School of Medicine
has been awarded a five-year grant from the National Institutes of
Health to continue seminal research in the treatment of
executive-function deficits due to traumatic brain injury or stroke.
Under the direction of Dr. Leonard Diller, the Neuropsychology Service
will conduct a randomized clinical trial of treatment methods for
deficits in problem solving and emotional self-regulation, first
developed at Rusk during earlier NIH-funded research.
The project will have openings for pre-doctoral research assistants
beginning late Fall, 2006. Responsibilities will include testing,
scoring, data entry, and other research-related activities. Competitive
