The New York Campus of the Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System announces the availability of a half-time position for a Ph.D.-level licensed or license-eligible clinical neuropsychologist in the Mental Health Service. Primary responsibilities will include assuming a leading role in the assessment and remediation of cognitive disorders associated with traumatic brain injury and their emotional impact on veterans and their families. Related responsibilities will include supervision of neuropsychological evaluations in the APA-approved Psychology Internship program, provision of lecture topics in the Psychology Internship seminar series, and attendance at departmental meetings and didactics within the VA System and at Bellevue Hospital Center.
Minimum qualifications include completion of an APA-approved internship and 1 year of postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology. We will give priority to applicants with demonstrated experience and interest in providing evidence-based remediation modalities to patients with traumatic brain injury or other disorders.
