Transitions of Long Island, part of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, is seeking an early career rehab/neuropsychologist to join our interdisciplinary neurorehabilitation team. Transitions, located in Manhasset, NY, provides comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services for individuals with acquired brain injuries.
Responsibilities include neuropsychological assessments, in/outpatient consultations, individual/group treatment (psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation), participation in team/family conferences and quality assurance/improvement activities. Candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently. Desire to work in a team environment is essential.
Position requires doctoral degree from an accredited psychology/ neuropsychology program, NY State licensure, and at least 1 year experience with adult neurologic population.
