CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Stony Brook University Hospital ’s Neuropsychology Service is currently recruiting for a full time Clinical Neuropsychologist. Responsibilities will include largely outpatient assessment of adults, with some evaluation of children and adolescents, and inpatient consultation with both populations as well. SBUH is a large University teaching hospital and major tertiary care facility in Suffolk County, serving as the academic medical center for the Medical School of the State University of New York @ Stony Brook, with ample research and teaching opportunities, including potential Academic appointment in the Department of Neurology at the rank of lecturer or clinical assistant professor (nontenure track). REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : a. Graduate of APA accredited PhD or PsyD Program in clinical Neuropsychology/Psychology. b. Doctorate and 2 yrs. Postdoctoral training in neuropsychology, including clinical assessment and consultation with adults and children/adolescents. c. Eligible for NYS License and ABPP/AACN Board Certification. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : a. Psychotherapy experience. This is an excellent opportunity to help build a behavioral neurology/ neuropsychology program. Excellent compensation package.
