Rehabilitation Psychologist and Neuropsychologist position openings in
Shepherd Center's Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
Programs. The Neuropsychologist will work in 30 bed inpatient ABI program
and provide assessment, intervention, consultation and education for
persons with a range of neurological disorders. Supervision of Fellows and
graduate students is required. The Rehabilitation Psychologist will work in
a 60 bed inpatient and outpatient SCI program and provide assessment,
intervention, and consultation for persons with SCI and co-occurring ABI.
Supervision of SCI Counselors is required. Both positions require
education, training and experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
as well as the ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary medical
rehabilitation team. The Neuropsychologist must have individual and family
therapy skills. The Rehabilitation Psychologist must have
neuropsychological expertise in addition to skills in managing the
psychological consequences of SCI. Eligibility for Board Certification
highly desirable. Salary and benefits for both positions are competitive.
